At The Cheerleading Worlds 2026, just 26% of all performances hit zero deductions. Throughout the season, we tracked hit percentages for Worlds teams at bid events that released full score sheets, and now we’re taking a look at how those numbers translated onto the sport’s biggest stage.

The Cheerleading Worlds 2026 took place April 24–27 at ESPN Wide World of Sports in Orlando, Florida. Across four days of competition and three rounds of performances, 509 teams took the floor for a combined 838 routines.

Out of those 838 performances, 216 routines received zero deductions, resulting in an overall event hit percentage of 26%. On the team side, 178 of the 509 teams competing managed to hit at least one routine during the event, giving Worlds a team hit percentage of 35%.

Hit Zero Stats By Round

The percentage of hit routines increased with each round of competition, showing how teams settled in as the event progressed:

  • Prelims: 21% hit rate (15 of 71 teams)
  • Semi-Finals: 25% hit rate (124 of 488 performances)
  • Finals: 28% hit rate (77 of 279 performances)

Finals saw the strongest performances of the weekend, with more than a quarter of routines finishing deduction-free.

38 Teams Hit Zero Twice At Worlds 2026

Only 38 teams were able to deliver two hit-zero performances during the event, a reminder of just how difficult a perfect routine is at The Cheerleading Worlds.

While hit percentages improved as the weekend went on, the overall numbers reinforce how challenging it is to put together a perfect routine at The Cheerleading Worlds. With only about one in four performances earning zero deductions, consistency once again proved to be one of the biggest separators on the sport’s biggest stage.
