Cheer Extreme’s annual showcase was on Sunday, October 22, 2017, and it was a SHOW. More than 80 teams performed and gave us a solid preview of what the Teal Army is going to bring to the table this season. CheerUPDATES was live at the event and shared videos of almost every team that took the mat.

We’ve gathered the videos from their level 5 Worlds teams who performed including Senior Elite, SSX, Coed Elite, X5, Inspire, Cougar Coed, Smoex, and IOC. People on Twitter are BUZZING about Monarchs, their senior 4 team, so you find their video down below too.

It’s hard to believe it’s only October watching some of these routines. They took the mat and executed routines that look competition ready and showcase a wide variety of talent and skills. Cheer Extreme is ready to hit the ground running this year!

Senior Elite – Large Senior 5

Senior Elite gave us straight skill in this routine and they have paid close attention to the details.  We’ll probably see a flashier routine with added choreography and different transitions when they take the competition floor later this year. CheerUPDATES briefly mentioned in a tweet that a choreographer is coming in to spice things up in the next couple weeks. Even the routine as is looks amazing and nearly complete – like watch their basket timing and technique, it’s fantastic.

SSX – Small Senior 5

SSX is serving you choreography for days. Their stunting is up to par with what we’ve come to expect from Cheer Extreme – their elite stunt sequence has 6 twists in it – and they hit it almost perfectly. After this routine gets cleaned and tuned up – it’ll be one for the books.

Coed Elite – Large Coed 5

Coed Elite’s elite stunt full up to immediate full around is super impressive. The structure of their routine looks really good and is easier to follow than in year’s previous.

Smoex – Medium Coed 5

All eyes will be on SMOEX this year after they unexpectedly swooped their way into the top 3 at Worlds 2017. Their routine looks sharp and crisp and again, their stunt sequence is ahhhmazing.
