East Cheer Championship takes place January 6-7, 2018 in Birmingham, Alabama. They will award two full paid bids and six at-large bids to The Cheerleading Worlds 2018. Currently, there are 18 teams competing for one of the six bids, and only one team has a Cheerleading Worlds bid so far.
