Cheerleading fans often refer to The MAJORS as the most selective cheerleading competition. Every season, The MAJORS hand-selects the most competitive teams from across the United States to compete in a one-night event, the Friday before JAMfest Super Nationals. It is one of the most anticipated weekends of the season.
The MAJORS announced who will compete at the 2027 event, including the 25 invited teams and a new twist: fans will vote for the final all-girl and coed teams to compete.
The MAJORS Champions 2012-2026
While everyone’s excited about the 2027 event, we wanted to take a look at The MAJORS’ past champions. We went and added up which programs and teams have taken home the most first-place finishes.
The MAJORS began in 2012 and have taken place annually in Indianapolis, Indiana, except in 2021, when they were held virtually.
Since then, Cheer Extreme has won the most MAJORS titles as a program, and Cheer Athletics Cheetahs have won the most as a team.
