The iconic MAJORS event announced the 11 teams that will compete in the all girl divisions in 2018. You’ll most definitely recognize the teams invited to The Majors 2018 as they are some of the most popular in the world right now. As a group, these teams have some pretty great stats so we whipped up some fun facts about them:
- All of the teams announced for 2018 have competed at The MAJORS except for Top Gun Lady Jags
- 6 of the 11 have previously won The MAJORS
- Each of these teams has won Worlds
- These 11 teams have collectively won 29 World Championship titles
New this year, The MAJORS announced a few of the factors that influenced their decision to include these teams in this season’s event. Most of the factors have to do with previous MAJORS titles, World Championship wins, or an individual aspect of their team that makes them stand out (tumbling, stunting, showmanship, etc). We’ve included the factors next to the team names below.
The MAJORS is scheduled to announce the 2018 coed teams next Monday, July 31st, 2017 – check out their twitter here.
