Varsity All Star awards various amounts of bids to The Cheerleading Worlds 2024 at their competitions. CHEERSPORT Nationals and NCA All-Star Nationals have different bid declarations and you can scroll below to see them.

Paid Bids
Paid bids are always awarded to the teams with the highest percentage of perfection score.
Events with 4 or Less Paid Bids
- At events with more than 1 PAID bid, at least 1 of the PAID bids will be awarded in a Senior division.
- No more than 1 PAID bid will be awarded in the Non-Tumbling and Global divisions.
- PAID bids must be awarded in two different divisions.
Events with 5 or 6 Paid Bids
- At least 2 of the PAID bids will be awarded in Senior divisions.
- No more than 2 PAID bids will be awarded in the Non-Tumbling and Global divisions.
- PAID bids must be awarded in at least three different divisions.
At-Large Bids
At-Large bids will be awarded to eligible teams with the highest Percent of Perfection score. At least 2 of the bids will be awarded in different Senior divisions.
Tie Breaker Policy
In the event that there is a tie for a Worlds bid, the following Tie-Breaker policy will apply:
- The bid will be awarded to the team with the least amount of deductions for Performance 2.
- If the deductions for Performance 2 are equal or zero, the team with the least amount of deductions for Performance 1 will be awarded the bid.
- If the deductions for Performance 1 are equal or zero, the bid will be awarded to the team with the highest Performance 2 score in the Showmanship category.
- If the Performance 2 Overall Impression category scores remain equal, the bid will be awarded to the team with the highest scoring Performance 1 score in the Showmanship category.
- If the Performance 1 Showmanship category remains equal, the tie will be broken by the Judges’ Choice.

9 Paid Bids
Full Paid Bids will be awarded at the discretion of CHEERSPORT. Factors impacting the decision are depth of division, routine skills, and deductions. First-place Champions will be given strong consideration for each FULL PAID BID.
3 of the PAID bids will be awarded among the following Senior All Girl Divisions:
- L6 Limited Senior X-Small
- L6 Senior X-Small
- L6 Limited Senior Small
- L6 Senior Small
- L6 Senior Medium
- L6 Senior Large
3 of the PAID bids will be awarded among the following Senior Coed Divisions:
- L6 Limited Senior Coed X-Small
- L6 Senior Coed X-Small
- L6 Limited Senior Coed Small
- L6 Senior Coed Small
- L6 Senior Coed Medium
- L6 Senior Coed Large
3 of the PAID bids will be up for grabs for all bid-eligible divisions.
27 At-Large Bids
23 of the At-Large bids will be awarded to the highest scoring team without a bid in each eligible Worlds division, provided that the team places in the top 3 of their division.
If there are no teams in the top 3 places eligible for an AT-LARGE bid, then the bid becomes up for grabs. All divisions will be considered.
4 of the AT-LARGE bids will be awarded as an up-for-grabs bid at the discretion of CHEERSPORT across all Worlds-eligible divisions.
Extra At-Large Bids:
- Any AT-LARGE bids still available once the above process is complete will be awarded as an up-for-grabs bid at the discretion of CHEERSPORT.

9 Paid Bids
8 of the PAID bids will be awarded to the National Champions in each of the following Senior Club divisions (or division sets):
- L6 XS Senior / L6 XS Senior Limited*
- L6 XS Coed / L6 XS Coed Limited*
- L6 Small Senior / L6 Small Senior Limited*
- L6 Senior Small Coed / L6 Senior Small Coed Limited*
- L6 Medium Senior
- L6 Large Senior
- L6 Senior Medium Coed
- L6 Senior Large Coed
In the event that a National Champion team already has a PAID bid, that PAID bid will be passed down to the next highest-scoring team in that division without a PAID bid, provided that team places in the top 5 of their division.
*In the divisions with a Limited counterpart, the PAID bid will go to the highest-scoring National Champion between the two champions. In the event that both National Champion teams already have a PAID bid, that PAID bid will be passed down to the next highest-scoring team in that division set without a PAID bid, provided that team places in the top 3 of their division.
1 of the Paid Bids will be awarded to the highest-scoring National Champion without a PAID bid from the following divisions:
- L6 U18 NT
- L6 U18 Coed NT
- L6 International Open
- L6 International Open Small Coed
- L6 International Open Large Coed
- L6 International Global
- L6 International Global Coed
- L6 International Open NT
- L6 International Open Coed NT
Extra Paid Bids
Any extra PAID bids will be awarded at judges’ discretion across all L6 Worlds divisions. In the event that a non-US team wins the National Champion title, the second-place team will be treated like a National Champion when considering bid eligibility.
27 At-Large Bids
The highest-scoring team without a bid in each Worlds-eligible division will be guaranteed an At-Large bid. This includes every division listed above and the following:
- L7 International Open
- L7 Small International Open Coed
- L7 Large International Open Coed
Extra At-Large Bids
Any extra At-Large bids will be awarded at the judges’ discretion across all Worlds-eligible divisions. Teams who place in the Top 15 of their division will be given priority.
Tie-Breaker Policy
In the event that there is a tie for a Worlds-bid based on score, the following Tie-Breaker policy will apply:
- The bid will be awarded to the team with the least amount of deductions for Performance 2.
- If the deductions for Performance 2 are equal or zero, the team with the least amount of deductions for Performance 1 will be awarded the bid.
- If the deductions for Performance 1 are equal or zero, the bid will be awarded to the team with the highest Performance 2 score in the Overall Impression category.
- If the Performance 2 Overall Impression category scores remain equal, the bid will be awarded to the team with the highest-scoring Performance 1 score in the Overall Impression category.
- If the Performance 1 Overall Impression category scores remain equal, the tie will be broken by the Judges’ Choice.
