Another exciting weekend of cheerleading is in the books and some pretty great cheerleading happened across the country. Cheer Theory was in Las Vegas for the All Star Games and it was the most innovative event we’ve been to this year. At this point in the season, we start seeing teams hit their routines with a polished look. We saw many, many deduction free routines this weekend and we’re hype about it. The small senior coed 5 division at the All Star Games had its fair share of shakeups with Cheer Central Suns revolution coming out on top.
16 Worlds bids, 48 Summit bids, and 46 D2 Summit bids were awarded over the weekend and we have less than a month until the three major end of the year events.
Our Favorite Performances of the Weekend

Cheer Central Suns Revolution
California All Stars Blackjacks
Tribe Cheer Chiefs
California All Stars Black Ops
One Up Nationals
The final Worlds bid competition of the month awarded 4 full paid bids and 6 at-large bids to the Cheerleading Worlds. Find the results here.
All Star Games 2017
The fourth annual All Star Games took place in Las Vegas at Mandalay Resort and Casino and it was a SHOW. All Star Games has a unique setup and includes more than just cheerleading – like extreme tumbling, parkour, and synchronized tumbling. They also casually awarded $70,000 in cash prizes to the top three scoring teams in each level. Cash money, honey! We’re still working on getting final results, but they’ll be posted here.
